About Jonathan Berger
Throughout his design career, Jonathan Berger has focused on quality, integrity and provenance in sourcing unique artwork and furnishings for his clients. Research is key to his work and, to this end, Jonathan designs across a myriad of styles and periods according to his clients’ desires, bringing historical perspective to each project.
After graduating in 1991 from U.C. Berkeley with a degree in Art History, Jonathan
co-founded an antiques business in the Bay Area selling furniture and art sourced from dealers and auction houses in the U.S. and abroad. During that time, he also worked with developers designing interior architectural spaces as well as staging homes.
In 1997, Jonathan moved to New York City where he completed a degree in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design. He then launched his design practice, working on residential and commercial projects in the Caribbean, Spain, Mexico, and the U.S.
In order to keep abreast of current trends, Jonathan regularly attends art and antiques fairs in Europe and the United States. In addition, he has accompanied clients on buying trips to London, Paris, Belgium, and other European cities.
Jonathan grew up in Pasadena, California and now splits his time between New York, Southern California and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
