With high ceilings and a large picture window overlooking the Museum of Natural History, this apartment is the perfect refuge for a scholar who spends a few, hectic days a month in Manhattan.  The goal was to create a tranquil setting highlighting the perfect proportions and enduring details of the apartment’s classical architecture.
